these are a pair of denim shorts i sewed together. i based the measurements off a pair of tommy hilfiger shorts that i like the fit of. they're the first pair of shorts i've ever made so that's kinda cool i guess. i think i did the back pockets pretty good and i like the little detail on the fly shield. the construction of the flat-felled seams were solid too. but i fucked up and made the waist too big. that's why i put a second button on it. and one of the front belt loops came undone so i guess that means im actually a fraud. in the future i think i'd wanna make a pair with a longer inseam that actually fits me around the waist.

these are a pair of jeans i made in my dorm. theres a lot of things that i fucked up but i still think they're kinda cool. i tried curving the back yoke a bit then did something new with the back pockets. a pink thread would work better than of a red. it makes the old english letters kinda look like chinese characters. or maybe i shouldve done it in all white. idk. i need to learn pattern making/cutting because shape and silhouette is way more imporant than back pocket details. once i get that down i think i'll be able to make some really cool shit.

this is a video that me and ben made together. with his help, i wrote the story, filmed, edited, and directed the video. even though it isnt the best/funniest thing in the world, i'm super proud of it because i think it turned out pretty good and was super fun to make. me and ben been wanting to make a good youtube video together since like sophomore year of high school. it's funny that we waited til the end of the summer, right before we went to college, to do it. this is very special to me because ben and i used to make youtube videos back when we were in elementary school. we would record ourselves running around, doing stupid shit like playing with fidget spinners.

monkey mind

in junior year i made my first website off neocities. i called it monkey mind, which was supposed to be a funny nickname for adhd or something. i used it to show off cool photos, songs, and movies. it's kinda like the father to this webpage i'm using now. every day at school, around 3rd period (english with mr. chiu) i would take a photo of myself off the chromebook and upload it as the photo of the day. i would try to get my friends in there sometimes. it's pretty fun to look back at them now. i remember trying to show the site to as much people as possible. what a fun time. you can check it out here.
